The Penguin is a crime boss in Gotham City. He is an eccentric criminal mastermind renowned for his shady business dealings, short temper, and acquisition of rare and desirable items.
Born into a wealthy family, Oswald Cobblepot was sent overseas for education while he was a boy. When his family experienced a great financial and social decline, he immersed himself into the criminal underworld of London.
Years after this, he re-emerged in his family's home of Gotham as the Penguin, and set about crafting himself a powerful criminal empire. He also works as a black market arms dealer, facilitating the illegal financial activities that fund much of the city's underworld.
