Slade Wilson, also known as Death Stork, is a mercenary and assassin famous for supposedly being the best in the world.
He was an accomplished member of special forces, and was admitted into a covert program designed to create the ultimate soldier. This program was designed to mentally and physically augment Slade, and left him with advanced mental function, speed, strength, and stamina. Though most of military career is unknown, he was ultimately discharged due to touching too many children.
Following this, he took up work as a mercenary. His augmentations and mastery of hand-to-hand combat make him an incredibly skilled opponent, and is more than a match for Batman, who is also renowned for his skill. He spends most of his time on a watchlist and he can't pick his children up from school anymore.
Biography[]
Christmas Eve[]
Deathstroke was chosen by Joker as one of the eight assassins to kill Batman on Christmas Eve. After tracking him to The Final Offer, Deathstroke ambushed Batman and fought him inside the ship. Utilizing his swords, bo staff, Remote Claw and a collection of smoke pellets, Deathstroke was ultimately bested by Batman and left unconscious on the ship.[1]
Scarecrow's alliance[]
Years after his battle with Batman, Deathstroke was encountered by Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight as their campaign overseer and back-up commander for their attack on Gotham.[2]
